Seven years ago I worked with Jarrod McGrath to help him with writing his first book, The Digital Workforce. He had just founded his company, Smart WFM. In the last 18 months we have worked together to publish the updated edition of this book as well as start working on the second and third books in the series.
Since writing his first book, Jarrod has grown Smart WFM to about 50 team members, operating around the world, providing human capital management services for some of the biggest corporate entities around. He is truly an extraordinary man, as are his team. Not only is he incredibly innovative and visionary, he is also extremely generous, having supported the Australian Business Book Awards and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (amongst many other not for profits) over the past few years.
Recently Jarrod invited me to join Smart WFM in an advisory capacity – and I leapt at the opportunity. I’m on the Advisory Board to assist with communication and marketing advice as the company continues to grow and expand globally.
I feel so honoured to take on this role. And whilst I will of course still be doing what I do in terms of my coaching, training, writing and speaking – my work at Smart WFM will become a big part of my business world.
