Thursday this week is officially International Wombat Day. And sadly, this week a wombat called Harold, died after being shot 26 times.
Many of you know that I’ve been a big supporter of Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary for many years. Donna and Phil do an amazing job, saving the lives of hundreds of wombats over the years, most of whom have ended up at the sanctuary after an interaction with humans that has gone bad.I am going to auction off the very first hardcover book, so it’s book #1 of 1000, and donate all of the money to Sleepy Burrows.
This will be used for medicine and food to take care of wombats in the sanctuary. I’m also going to include a 1:1 coaching session for the winner, to use however they choose. So it’s pretty good value!
To bid, simply put your offer in the comments below and the highest bidder wins. I’ll be announcing the winning bid next Monday, COB. And I’d appreciate it if you could share this post if it’s appropriate for you. Thanks so much to everyone who puts a bid in.
Cheers, Andrew
