Today I did a webinar on podcasting (which I still find an incredibly weird sentence to write), with Ronsley Vaz. It was totally oversubscribed – so we are really sorry if you missed out. But on the bright side, here is a recording of the webinar. This was my first major foray with the new webinar platform, ZOOM, and it worked out pretty darn well. The video recording is a little off centre, but it doesn’t take away from Ronsleys wonderful advice.
I hope this inspires you on your own Podcasting journey.
PS Don’t forget to take Ronsley up on his 15 minute coaching call re podcasting and how it can work for you. Details on the video.
Thanks guys for a very informative webinar. I am thinking of doing a series of podcasts where I would interview gurus in my particular field of business process improvement. Through my years of blogging (6 so far) I’ve created a loyal following of around 2,000 subscribers but limited consulting opportunities. I was wondering whether I should go for an interview style format as I mentioned or whether I should focus on a mistakes / solution style format where our consultancy can showcase its expertise. The interview format would certainly be easier as I am connected to all of the top people in the process improvement space and I could turn the interviews into a book. Interested to know your thoughts.
Hey Craig,
I think that interview style is a good one – but of course it doesn’t stop you showcasing your own consultancy expertise. Mix it up, do part of the webinar as an interview and then part as your take on the interview. Podcasting is finding its feet – try it and see how it goes.
Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew & Ronsley for answering so many of the questions that had been piling up around me. I’ve been wanting to start my own podcast for a while and know feel like I have the support needed to do so. I adore podcasts and have an array that I call upon every week. Can’t wait to create my own version and get it out there to the world.
Our pleasure Natasha – purely selfish for me – they were questions I really wanted answered. I can’t wait to listen to your podcast. Cheers – Andrew
