Peter Lik has become a very well known name in the photographic world. His images are incredible and he has galleries around the world. Pete’s reputation is about to go to a whole other level with the release of a 13 part series on him and his photographic escapades on the Weather Channel in the USA. The associated press as a result of this has been huge and I have no doubt that it will only get bigger.
Now, why I am blogging about this? For two reasons. Pete is a good friend of mine and I am incredibly proud of his success. Secondly, I have known him for about 20 years and from the minute I met him, his motto in life was “go big or go home”. He is completely focused and driven and there was never any doubt that he would become an international success. Pete backed himself 100% – he took a lot of risks, nearly died a few times barely surviving a helicopter crash.
So congratulations on the overnight success Pete!!! It will be fun to see where you go in the next 20 years.
PS If you want to know more about Pete and his work, do a Google search – extraordinary stuff.
