Cyclone Yasi heading to Cairns

Well Cairns is battening down the hatches in what is shaping up to be a very full on weather season. Cyclone Yasi is bearing down on the Far North Queensland coast – and current predictions are for winds up to 300km per hour. So we are all in the midst of getting water supplies, batteries, putting tape on the windows and much more. Whatever happens, there is going to be a lot of rain, a lot of wind and we will be out of action up here for a few days.
