The word out there is that it feels tough to do business right now. So this video above is to help get you a little fired up, focused and taking action, even if you don’t really feel like it.
There’s no sugar-coating it, I’ve been hearing the same thing from business owners everywhere lately. Cashflow is tight, customers are hesitant, creativity feels stuck and there is big sense of exhaustion.
So I made a new video to offer seven simple strategies to help shake the dust off and get back on track. These are practical strategies, that I’ve used myself many times over the years, and taught to thousands of entrepreneurs around the world:
1. Don’t get distracted by AI – It’s a tool, not a saviour. Stop chasing the shiny and start sharpening your human edge.
2. Embrace what makes you truly unique – You are your unfair advantage, own your weird, share what makes you unique and get really good at telling others what it is.
3. Get moving – Literally and figuratively. When we get stuck, motion helps us to think, to get clear and to make progress.
4. Do a business reset instead of just moving bits of paper around on your desk. Step back and rethink what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to go, what do you need to do re-energise yourself and your business.
5. Educate, educate, educate your customers! We make such big assumptions that everyone knows what we do – they don’t. It’s our job to teach them not their job to know.
6. Focus on ONE thing – and use this as your North Star all day, every day.
7. Make some space – you can’t grow a business (or a brain) in clutter. Clear your head. Clear your desk. Clear your diary. Make some space to think better, to recharge, to re-energise and refocus.
Let me know which of these hits home for you. And if you’re feeling stuck, you’re not alone but you don’t have to stay there.
Cheers,
Andrew
