ENTRIES ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR THE 2026 AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS BOOK AWARDS!

Today we officially launch the eighth annual Australian Business Book Awards, and we could not be more excited to get things underway.

Every year, these Awards remind us just how many exceptional books are being written by Australian authors, books filled with original thinking, practical wisdom, courageous ideas and hard-earned experience.

Writing a book is a significant achievement. Writing a book that educates, challenges, inspires and creates meaningful change is something worth recognising and celebrating.

The 2026 Award categories are:

– Entrepreneurship and Small Business
– General Business
– Health and Wellbeing
– Leadership
– Management and HR
– Personal Development
– Personal Finance and Investment
– Specialist Business

And we’re also introducing two “PEOPLE CHOICE” categories – one for the “People’s Choice Cover of the Year” and the “People’s Choice Book of the Year”.

Every eligible book entered is also automatically considered for the 2026 Australian Business Book of the Year.

Authors can enter their book into one or two categories.

Books published between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026 are eligible, and entries close on 21 August 2026.

The Australian Business Book Awards are proudly not-for-profit, with any profits donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. To date, the Awards have donated $73,500 to support the extraordinary work the Foundation does to improve literacy in Indigenous communities across Australia.

So, if you have published an outstanding business, leadership, finance, personal development or business-related book during the past financial year, now is the time to put it forward.

Do not leave your book sitting quietly on the shelf.
