I had a great chat with Mick Hawes for the ToolShed Podcast, which will go live at 1:30 pm AEDT on December 20th, 2025.
We had a big discussion around the concept of value – and what it means to those in the building industry in particular, but with relevance to any industry or business.
Mick is a fellow Tasmanian (I’m a blow in from the mainland but grasping for my Tasmanian heritage). He is a specialist coach, working with builders, generally husband and wife teams. The fact that he’s had clients work with him for almost 20 years says a great deal about what he does and the fact that he delivers. Check out more about Mick and the work he does via this link – https://buildersbusinessblackbelt.com.au/
And you can check out our conversation here – it’s a two part episode.
Part 1 (goes live 1.30pm Friday 19th December): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evAWDqCDOLc
Part 2 (goes live on the 26th December): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQSHEaf91MA
