Small Business Big Marketing Interview

“It’s between you and your major competitor. You’re both submitting on a big tender that, if you win it, will set your business up for a good 12-months. You’re both comparable on price and service delivery, so there’s not much in it and the client is having a hard time deciding who to award the deal to. Then the client remembers the book you’d written (that you’d personally signed and given them instead of a business card) and BOOM you win!”

I had the pleasure of being interviewed (well really having a good old chat) with Mr Tim Reid a week or two back. Tim is the mastermind behind Australia’s #1 Small Business Podcasting site – Small Business Big Marketing. Our discussion revolved around leveraging our businesses by writing a book (or for that matter writing just about anything). There is a lot of talk in this space, and it is something I have been doing for over 10 years now. Surprisingly, its not has hard as most people imagine.

So grab a cuppa, put your feet up and listen in – just click on the image below and you will go to the Small Business Big Marketing site. Enjoy.
