I have just spent three days on a Mike Ball Minke Whale expedition in the Coral Sea. A truly remarkable few days and my first in water encounter with a sub species of the Minke Whale, the Dwarf Minke Whale. And I got to give my new GoPro a workout – kinda easy when the subject matter is so impressive (but no wildlife awards just yet). This whale and a few of his buddies hung around the boat at the famous Cod Hole for about 2.5 hours.
