Anonymous Extraordinaries – an apt description for this incredible young lady.

Friday, November 25th, 2011

For anyone who has to put up with people complaining about “kids today” – send them a link to this video. Natalie Warne talks about her experience with child soldiers in Africa and how she embarked on a journey to change history forever.

The sooner us grey hairs get out of the way and let the “kids” of today run this planet the better. Collectively they care about the environment, the people and the future. I feel that most politicians only think in terms of political time frames not generational time frames and until this changes, not much else will.

This is a video that everyone should watch.

To best way to “Give Thanks” is to BLEED WITH A BUDDY

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

Well it is Thanksgiving in Australia today (in the USA tomorrow – well kind of, we all know that confusing date line thing). Anyway, it is a pretty good day to stop and reflect on what we have to be grateful for – as opposed to what we can moan and complain about. So to celebrate Thanksgiving I am dragging a good buddy of mine down to the local blood bank.

We are both fortunate enough to be healthy, with a roof over our heads and a plenty to eat for us and our families, so what better way to give thanks for all of the good things in our world than to help other people whose lives are not so fortunate. In Australia the demand for blood is HUGE. With Thanksgiving today, Christmas around the corner and a lot of people in need, why not grab a mate and bleed together! It’s time to BLEED WITH A BUDDY.

96five’s End of Financial Year Appeal kicks off this week.

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

I do a weekly interview on 96five every Wednesday morning and I have done this for almost two years now. I think that this is a great radio station, that promotes positivity, encourages people to make real changes in their life and to support others. This week is the stations annual End of Financial Year Appeal and if you can, I hope you will support the fundraiser.
