As you may or may not be aware I have been appointed as Chairman for the Far North Queensland Regional Development Australia Committee (a Federal, State and Local Government initiative).
Part of my new role is to collect information on what is going on throughout the region and give suggestions for what we can do to drive the economy.
I welcome your feedback and thoughts – please post them on this blog – you can be anonymous – but please be specific. What I mean by this is can you tell me how much your business has been impacted and what other negative trends you are seeing.
With regards to suggestions for getting the economy kickstarted – I am looking for specific ideas for small business at this stage.

Can you tell me how much your business has been impacted?
This is my third year as an online business and I experienced growth. This has been my best in year in terms of income, meting goals and extending networks.
What negative trends you are seeing?
Students )professionals in training) graduating with 4 year degrees who cannot;
critically analyse; formulate an evidence-based argument; develop and test hypotheses; or apply classroom learning to real world situations in terms of
ethics, leadership, conflict resolution, motivation and personal learning styles.
