Here is a pic of me signing the last 360 books given to brokers by the Bank of Melbourne at our seminar yesterday morning. Authors can sit and sign books all day – and still have that dumb grin on their face.
Interestingly though, as I was signing books at Federation Square, in a room that had a big window looking out on the street, people stopped and started watching me. At one stage there were about 100 kids from a school group all peering in at me (with the teacher explaining what I was doing) – only in Melbourne can an author sitting and signing a pile of books be considered performance art!
Thinking this could be the beginning of a new career………it’s going to be big!
