Superbowl 2011 – $3million for 30 seconds.

At $3m for a 30 second spot, any Superbowl television commercial needs to be a good one. Here is one about Detroit, featuring Eminem – the cost to produce the commercial was $9m. It is being touted as the winner. I think it is a very good commercial – highly emotive on many fronts and repositioning both Detroit and Chrysler (which is actually what the commercial is promoting). Worth the loot? I think so.
