I find it interesting that there is still so much cynicism regarding social media. You can’t mention Twitter at a conference without a low rumble in the audience, generally being negative comments about twitter and other social media networks. I can’t help but be reminded about the IBM famous saying a few years back that there “will only ever be a need for 4 home based computers in the world”. Oooooops. Realistically, social media really is here to stay, for those in business we simply need to figure out how to use it. This presentation really provides a very clear way to get your head around the way social media works and the growing significance of this media.
